Inspire Elementary Social Media Campaign
I managed Columbus charter school Inspire Elementary's social media from May 2018-August 2018. Our goal was to recruit new students for the upcoming school year. My main objectives while managing their social media included: increasing followers, increasing engagement, and maintaining consistent branding and posting on all platforms.
I planned out the social media calendar one month in advance. This calendar included what needed to be posted for each platform on that day. In terms of best times and days to post, I checked our social media analytics weekly to determine our optimal times and days. Lastly, I was tasked with running two Facebook ad campaigns for Inspire. I was allotted a budget, and worked with another employee to make sure we were targeting out audience properly and effectively.
Along with managing Inspire Elementary’s social media, I also managed their website. I edited, added, and updated pages often.
Weekly I designed graphics and other marketing materials per Inspire Elementary’s request. Social media graphics, door hangers, post cards, and flyers are among the few that I designed. These materials were sent all across Columbus, Ohio to prospective students and families. I used software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, and Canva to create these designs.
